This fully funded KAUST Fellowship supports international students pursuing MS/PhD Track, PhD, Postgraduate Diploma, Master’s, or PhD programs at KAUST in Saudi Arabia. Fellowship Requirements

  • Official transcripts
  • CV/Resume
  • Statement of Purpose (~750 words)
  • Three recommendation letters
  • English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS)
  • GRE (optional)
  • A faculty advisor is not required at application time

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to applicants of all nationalities
  • No separate scholarship application — all admitted students are awarded the KAUST Fellowship
  • Upload all required documents during the application process
  • Minimum English test scores:
    • IELTS: 6.5 bands
    • TOEFL: 79
  • Admission requirements:
    • Master’s programs: bachelor’s degree required
    • PhD programs: bachelor’s + master’s degree required
  • Applicants with degrees from accredited institutions in the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand are exempt from TOEFL/IELTS.
