McCall MacBain Scholarship 2025/26 Fully Funded in Canada

Looking to study in Canada on a fully funded scholarship? Applications are now open for the McCall MacBain Scholarship 2026. This is a fully funded opportunity for international students, as well as Canadians and U.S. citizens, to study a Master’s or second entry professional undergraduate program at McGill University. There are up to 30 full scholarships and 100 entrance awards available. The full scholarship covers tuition fees, a monthly stipend, and round-trip airfare for students coming from outside Canada. You don’t need to be admitted to McGill before applying for the scholarship. You’ll apply for the McCall MacBain Scholarship first. Then in September, you’ll apply for an eligible program at McGill for the Fall 2025 intake.

Eligible Degree Programs

You can apply for any full-time Master’s program or second entry professional degree at McGill University. Second entry programs include things like Law, Medicine, or Dentistry programs you usually apply to after getting an initial degree.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You’re planning to apply for Fall 2025 admission to a full-time Master’s or second-entry professional degree at McGill
  • You’re set to graduate with your first degree by August 2026
  • You earned your first degree in the last five years
  • You’re a current student or a recent graduate
  • You meet the minimum degree and language requirements for your chosen program

English Language Requirements for McCall MacBain

To apply for the McCall MacBain Scholarship at McGill University, you may need to prove your English language skills unless you qualify for one of the exemptions below.

Accepted English Tests:

  • TOEFL iBT: Minimum overall score of 86, with no section below 20
  • IELTS: Minimum overall band score of 6.5

You don’t need to submit English test scores if:

  • English is your mother tongue (your first language and still used daily)
  • You’ve completed (or are about to complete) an undergraduate degree from Canada or the United States
  • You’ve lived, studied, or worked for at least four consecutive years in a country where English is the main language
  • You’ve completed (or are about to complete) a degree from a recognised institution where English was the language of instruction
