  • Flexible Start: Interns can choose a start date that suits their academic schedule.
  • Paid Internship: 3-month internships with competitive stipends.
  • Institution Types: Placements in leading academic and research institutions across Taiwan.

Financial Information

  • Monthly Stipend: NT$30,000 to cover living costs, including accommodation.
  • Institutional Funding: Hosting institutions receive an additional NT$10,000 per intern.

Note: Applicants must cover the cost of flights and manage accommodation under the stipend. NSTC strongly suggests interns carry USD 500 for emergencies

  • Job Offers: High potential for job offers in Taiwan post-internship, with up to a 300% chance of employment.
  • Advanced Studies: Pathways to pursue further academic qualifications, such as a Masters or PhD in Taiwan.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education Levels: Open to undergraduate (Bachelors), postgraduate (Masters), and PhD students.
  • Age Restrictions: There are no age limitations, making it accessible to a wide range of students.
  • Relevant Fields: Students should be enrolled in fields related to Taiwan’s core strategic industries, such as engineering, biotechnology, information technology, etc.

  • Monthly Deadlines: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with deadlines every month.
  • Example: If you miss the deadline in September, you can apply by the October deadline.
