Applications are now open for the United Nations Nippon Foundation Fellowship 2026, a fully funded opportunity for professionals working in ocean affairs and maritime law. This 9-month fellowship consists of two phases designed to provide advanced training and research experience. The first phase offers 3 months at the Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea (DOALOS) at United Nations Headquarters in New York. Fellowship Program Structure

  • After the Fellowship: Successful fellows will return to their home countries to apply what they’ve learned.
