Woods Hole Summer Student Fellowship 2025 (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the Woods Hole Summer Student Fellowship 2025 in the USA. This is a fully funded, 10-week summer internship open to students from all countries. Each year, 25-30 students are selected to participate.

The internship is hosted by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Selected students will work on research projects under expert supervision. No application fee is required, and all major expenses are covered.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Woods Hole Fellowship, applicants must:

  • Be international undergraduate students.
  • Have completed their junior year (third year) of studies before the internship starts.
  • Graduates are not eligible.
  • If in a three-year Bachelor’s program, students must be in their second year.
  • If in a five-year combined Bachelor’s/Master’s program, students must be in their third year.
