IsDB Scholarship 2025-26 | Fully Funded
Applications are now open for the Islamic Development Bank | IsDB Scholarship 2025-26, one of the largest fully funded scholarships for international students. This program allows students to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, and Postdoctoral studies at top IsDB partner universities worldwide. The IsDB Scholarship covers full tuition fees, accommodation, return airfare, a monthly stipend, books and clothing allowance, and medical insurance. It is open to citizens of IsDB member countries and Muslim communities in non-member countries. There is no application fee, and the selection process is entirely merit-based.

IsDB Scholarship Programs
The IsDB offers four major scholarship programs, covering different academic levels and study fields:
1) IsDB Merit Scholarship Program (MSP) – PhD & Postdoctoral
- Fully funded scholarships for PhD and postdoctoral research.
- Open to citizens of IsDB member countries.
- Scholars can study at any top university worldwide.
2) IsDB Master of Science Scholarship (M.Sc.)
- Open to students from least developed IsDB member countries.
- Candidates must secure admission to a top-ranked university (Top 1000 by Times Higher Education).
Eligible Countries: Afghanistan, Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Maldives, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Palestine, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Togo, Uganda, Yemen.
3) IsDB Scholarship for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries (SPMC) – Bachelor’s Degree
- Designed for Muslim students in non-IsDB member countries.
- Covers undergraduate studies in medicine, engineering, technology, agriculture, and related fields.
- Available at recognized universities in the students’ own countries.
Eligible Countries: Australia, Canada, Croatia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Germany, Ghana, India, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Netherlands, Russia, Rwanda, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, The Philippines, Trinidad-Tobago, Vietnam, Zambia, Liberia, Cambodia, Mauritius, Macedonia.
4) IsDB-ISFD Scholarship for Least Developed Member Countries (LDMCs) – Bachelor’s & Technical Diploma
- Open to students from 21 least developed IsDB member countries.
- Covers bachelor’s degrees and technical diplomas in medicine, engineering, agriculture, and other key fields.
- Studies take place at partner universities in Malaysia, Morocco, and Türkiye.
Eligible Countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Togo, Uganda, Yemen.
