Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship program, the applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 or equivalent
- Have a minimum TOEFL score of 79 on the IBT (Internet Based Test) or 6.5 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System). The KAUST admissions code is 4107. A TOEFL or IELTS score is not required if the applicant received a degree from an accredited institution in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.

- Have a clear and well-defined research proposal that aligns with the KAUST research themes and objectives
