Eligibility requirements
To qualify for the King Fahd University Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Master’s applicants: Must hold a 4-year Bachelor’s degree
- PhD applicants: Must have a 2-year Master’s degree
- Minimum GPA:
- 3.0/4.0 for scholarship applicants
- 2.5/4.0 for non-scholarship applicants
English language requirements (any one of the following):
- TOEFL: 520 (PBT), 190 (CBT), or 70 (IBT)
- IELTS: Minimum 6.0
- Duolingo English Test: Minimum score of 105 (can be taken online)
Exemptions: Applicants from English-speaking countries (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand) do not need to submit an English test.
You’ll also need two recommendation letters from academic referees.
