Maastricht University scholarship coverage

The Maastricht University scholarship offers beneficiaries a lot of advantages, the most prominent of which are the following :

  •  Living expenses: 12,350 euros (13 months) or 23,750 euros (24 months)
  •  Health and liability insurance: 700 euros
  •  Visa application costs: € 192
  •  Tuition fees: 13,800 euros; 15,500 euros or 16,800 euros, depending on the tuition fees for your study program
  •  Pre-academic training costs

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must meet all the following requirements:

  •  Required language: English
  •  Eligible countries: citizens of countries outside the EU / EEA and Switzerland.
  •  You have the citizenship of a country outside Switzerland in the EU / EEA and meet the requirements for a visa and residence permit in the Netherlands.
  •  You do not have dual citizenship in an EU/EEA country.
  •  You meet the specific admission requirements for the MSC program to which you are applying.
  •  You have never attended a higher education program pursuing a degree in the Netherlands. Applications are welcome from students who have completed an exchange program in the Netherlands.
  •  You will be under 35 years old by September 1, 2023.
  •  You have achieved excellent results in your previous educational program, as evidenced by the latest version or by academic excellence. If multiple applicants are equally eligible, Umm will give priority to applicants who have transcripts or academic certificate letters proving excellence and are in the top 5% of applicants for the 2022-2023 scholarship program.

How to Apply for Maastricht University Scholarship 2023-24 in Netherlands

  1. enrolled in one of the master’s programs at Maastricht University. 
  2. please fill out the application form by (logging in with your University of Michigan account) and uploading the following documents. Doc .D OCX or PDF form and submit your request. Note that you can submit only one application, so make sure that you have all your documents and contact details of the referee up to date. If you have applied to more than one program of study, the International Service Office of Umm University will ensure that your full scholarship application is considered for all eligible programs for which you have conditional approval or approved admission status.
  3. Please note that you can only submit one application, so please be sure to update all documents and contact details of the referee.
