DAAD University Summer Courses Benefits
The DAAD University Summer Courses are fully funded, and selected participants will receive:
- Full coverage of tuition fees for German language, regional studies, and technical language courses.
- A one-time scholarship payment of €1,192.
- For students from least developed countries, the scholarship amount is €1,367.
- Travel allowance.
- Health, accident, and personal liability insurance.
- Course fees and accommodation costs are usually deducted from the scholarship benefits directly.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s degree programme.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Students from any academic discipline are welcome to apply.
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least two years of university study by the start of the summer courses.
- The courses are conducted in German, so applicants must provide proof of a minimum A2 language level.
- Applicants can select up to three course preferences in their online application.
